Default how do i set up outlook to check for emails on startup of program

I have had to reboot my pc, before i used outlook express, but I thought as i
had it i would use microsoft outlok, the problem is that i have to 'F9' or
click send & receive, is there a way to check for emails auto on startup, i
know about the checking times, but i thought there was a way of checking on
start up like i had on outlook express.

Thanks

Define a send/receive interval and Outlook will check for mail on startup.
ToolsOptionsMail SetupSend/Receive. Check "Schdule and automatic
send/receive every" and enter a value no less than about ten minutes.
