I downloaded Microsoft Office Pro trial 2007 from the internet. I installed
it to my computer once the download was finished. It seemed everything went fine with the download and no problems installing it. After the computer rebooted. I was going to go and look at everything that downloaded. Everything was there but outlook 2007. I do have installed on my computer Office 2003. I wouldn't think I would have to remove that before I went to Office 2007 or do I? Has any one had this problem? Any suggestion on this would be helpful but it does take a lot of time to install and uninstall but any help would be helpful. |

I am experiencing the same problem. Outlook 2007 is missing. If you go into
Add/Remove Programs and try to change Office Pro 2007 Trial to Add/Remove features you see Outlook listed but "X" (Not Available) for installation. I think there is a problem with the Trail. Microsoft needs to verify this and correct trial download. I also have Office 2003 installed and do not want to uninstall yet. Office 2003 being there did not affect installation of the other Office 2007 programs. -- Jim "drocake" wrote: I downloaded Microsoft Office Pro trial 2007 from the internet. Follow-up on Outlook 2007 installation!
Removing Office 2003 Outlook using Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Features makes Outlook 2007 available for installation using Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Features in Office 2007. Outlook 2007 works fine after following these procedures. -- Jim "Jim" wrote: I am experiencing the same problem. Outlook 2007 is missing. HELP! We downloaded the trial version as well with the same Outlook problem.
If we remove Outlook 2003 then later choose not to purchase Office 2007 what happens to our Outlook? Are we then without it permanantely?
