Hi,
I am not sure what the technical name for them are, but when you type the name in the TO section of the email, sometimes it will pop up a list of possible names to choose from. Is there a way to automatically wipe these out and can it be automated (registry key) so that it gets applied to all of our staff Thanks |

This is the suggest names feature found at Tools Options Prefs. tab
E-mail Options button Advanced E-mail Options. To wipe this list centrally, you would have to figure out a way to delete the profile_name.NK2 file located at \documents and settings\userid\application data\microsoft\outlook while Outlook is closed. Thanks
I checked and I cannot find a file with that extension in that location ... I also did a search for all files that end in NK2 and nothing came up. It`s the outlook profile name. Just search for *.nk2 if you do not have
a large number of profiles. Peter Kerry schrieb: by profile name.nk2 ... are you referring to the outlook profilename or the users profile?
