Default Multiple e-mail accounts

I would like someone to explain to me how to set up Outlook 2003 to access
more than one e-mail accounts (perhaps as many as 5) and store the e-mails in
different pst files. These e-mail accounts all belong to one person (me), so
strict separation is not required.
I would like to know what this would look like in the "Mail Folders" pane
(pain??), in particular, would there be one primary (default) account / set
of folders into which all of the e-mail would be down loaded and then have to
be either filter-sorted or manually moved from that Inbox to the other sets
of folders under the primary folder or can they be "coequal"?? I know the
items in the inbox can be displayer (sorted) by the e-mail account from which
they were sent.
I was not able to find anything on this in HowTo-Outlook.com or in MSC's
site. If there is a better site, please let me know. Thanks. njmeatball

options.

and store the e-mails in different pst files.

ToolsRules and Alerts. Use rules with the condition "through the specified
account" and the "move a copy to the specified folder" and "stop processing
more rules" actions.

Accounts and folder sets don't really correspond in any one-to-one
relationship. By default, all POP accounts in the same mail profile share
the same default folder set. (IMAP and HTTP accounts get their own sets.)
They can be organized any way you like. You can use a single Inbox and
subfolders of that Inbox, you can use alternate "Inbox" folders (although
you won't be able to name them "Inbox") in the same PST, but on the same
level as the default Inbox, or you can create separate PSTs and have an
Inbox (or whatever folder name you choose) in each.

Finally, you can use separate mail profiles, one per account, and have
separate Inboxes, Calendars, etc. for each account, to keep the messages
truly separate. You switch mail profiles by closing and restarting Outlook.

Keep in mind that if the various accounts use the same ISP and the same
username/password for each account, they're aliases and not really separate
accounts, as far as Outlook is concerned, because all the messages will be
in the same server mailbox. To have the "through the specified account"
condition to work as expected, the credentials of the accounts will need to
be distinct.
