Default Additional data Files stops 2007 starting!

Outlook 2007 installed and running until I open some additional Data Files
originally created in Outlook 2003. When I next try and start Outlook I am
greeted almost immediatley by a 'Outlook has to close down' message. Even
trying to start in Safe Mode brings the same message.

Has anyone else had this problem?
