Default cannot login to email account

Outlook 2003 on this machine will not login to my hotmail account or my
company email account any more. I have checked all the setting with my other
machines and see no differences. I have uninstalled, reinstalled and
upgraded to Outlook 2007, but still no success. The only thing I can think
of is that I uninstalled Microsoft Desktop Indexer. I have reinstall the
desktop indexer again hoping to solve my problem, but no success. Does
anyone have any ideas? Otherwise, my only option would be to reinstall
Windows XP and start over again.
Thanks

Do you get any error messages? What exactly happens when you try?
