Russ,
Thanks for your suggestion. I determined that Palm One software was locking the file. By turning off the Palm One software, I was able to copy the Outlook.pst file. State what add-ins you have installed and the last action you took when you exited Outlook. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "R Carlson, NJ" R Carlson, wrote in message ... I cannot migrate my Outlook data (.pst files) from my old computer to my new one. When I attempt to copy a .pst file on the old computer, I get error message "Cannot copy Outlook.pst; the process cannot access file because another process has locked a portion of the file". How do I determine what process is locking the file and how to unlock it? |
