Hello,
I've been using Outlook 2003 and haven't had problems. Recently I started having trouble sending email. I spoke w/ my internet provider and all of my settings seem to be correct. I am able to send/receive email thru their website. They said the problem is w/ Outlook. Any suggestions? Thanks. jbc |

Hi Neo,
When I send mail, Outlook takes forever. I get a prompt Sending message 1 of 1 and eventually I get a message that an error occurred. When I do a test I get the following error messages: Send test e-mail message: The specified server was found, but there was no response from the server. Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct. To access these settings close this dialog, then click More Settings and click on the Advanced tab. Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Same error as above. I checked the knowledge base and deleted and then recreated my account. That didn't help. Hope this helps. jbc "neo [mvp outlook]" wrote: do you get any error messages from outlook when you try to send/receive email? "jbc" wrote in message ... By this description, I would check to see if you have a personal firewall
installed and is it configured to a let Microsoft Outlook create a network connection. "jbc" wrote in message ... Hi Neo, When I send mail, Outlook takes forever.
