I am running Outlook 2000. Several weeks ago I tried the trial edition of
Office 2007. After trying it for a few days I uninstalled the trial version and reinstalled Outlook 2000 (from Office 2000). Everything is fine except that Outlook now continues to run even after it is closed! That is, it appears to have closed but still shows up when task manager is opened. I must go into the task manager to terminate an Outlook session. If not, each time I open Outlook another session is added to the task manager list. I have had as many as five or six sessions running simultaneously. How can I get the program to actually terminate when I click the "X" or select "Exit" from the File menu? Thanks, Greg |
