I'm seeing weird off-shoot of this. I have the PromptForAging value in my
registry set to 0, but when I go into Outlook | Tools | Options| Other | AutoArchive, the check box for "Prompt before AutoArchive runs is still checked. Is there another setting that I am missing? Thanks, Dave "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: 1) Not part of the mail profile. Control with group policy or any other registry technique. Location for AutoArchive being H:\outlook\archive.pst, and 3. send/receive - Schedual an automatic send/receive. Can anybody tell me what entries I can add to the PRF file or what registry entries need to be made/imported to set those areas. I have been throught the White Paper from Microsoft, but it does not cover most of the settings options that need to be set. |

I've seen a few cases where the UI didn't match the policy settings. THe real question is whether the user is actually getting prompted.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue.
We have Office 2003 and about to upgrade to 2007. We don't want users to be prompted for AutoArchive. I've tried switching the prompt off using the OCT install, GPO, and direct registry setting. Whether the registry setting is 1 or 0, the box is always checked in the Options menu. thanks "Dave" wrote: I'm seeing weird off-shoot of this.
