I am trying to connect a laptop running Office 2007 with my SBS 2003 machine
(obviously with Exchange 2003). Using the 'Mail' applet in Control Panel I attempt to manually enter the settings of the server name (which I can ping by name from the PC) and user but when I click on 'Check Name' I receive the message: Outlook cannot log on. Verify you are connected to the network and are using the proper server and mailbox name. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action. I have one gateway listed and the only DNS server entered is the SBS2003 machine. I know I have all the correct login information but I still receive the error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. -Jody |
