Hi,
You could refer the link below for steps to create a new profile in Outlook 2007. http://web.uconn.edu/exchange/faq/cl...7/profiles.htm If the new profile works fine, then go ahead and import the data from the previous profile. You could run the Import/Export wizard to bring back the old files. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070 (Applies for Outlook 2007 too) You could refer the link below for any additional queries - http://technet2.microsoft.com/Office....mspx?mfr=true Rgds, Mittu "DOH!" wrote: Hi Mittu, Thanks for the help. I ran outlook07 in safe mode and still get the error. Is there a Microsoft tutorial on how to create a new profile? tips? How to keep my old settings/email/etc...? Thanks for your help! "Mittu" wrote: Hi, Could you try opening Outlook through Start Run outlook /safe and let me know if you receive any errors in the Outlook Safe Mode. Also, you could try creating a new profile under Control Panel Mail and check if the new profile throws up any error. If you do have a file, rename it to 'extend.old' and restart computer. Try launching Outlook and check if you still receive any errors. I think this has something to do with MSExchange...which I don't use and have disabled them in OL2007's add-in manager. The error message tells me to run diagnostics, which I have done, but to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks in advance |
