I'm using Outlook 2003 on XP Pro. I go to Import-Export and choose
'Export to a file.' I'm then presented with a format to export to, such as comm-separated, pst, and so on. If I choose any format but pst, then the next dialog, "Select folder to export from," is blank! What am I missing? Thanks. Michael |

I'm trying to copy my calendar entries to Google calendar, which won't
read pst files directly, but *will* read csv files. Michael On Thu, 18 Jan 2007 09:08:22 -0500, "Brian Tillman" wrote: wrote: I'm using Outlook 2003 on XP Pro. Perhaps there's another way to transfer the data without exporting. |

I had the same problem and found this workaround:
- Export your calendar to a .pst file - Do again the export but select now the desired csv format. The list of folders should now appear. I don't know why but it seems doing a pst export somehow repair Outlook. Hope it work for you too. Olivier |

"Help | Detect and repair" worked; thanks!

Well, then, you're correct. You'll need to be able to export to that format. As you surmise, you should see the folder list, with the currently viewed folder being highlighted. Have you tried HelpDetect and Repair? A new mail profile might fix the issue as well. |
