What type of E-mail account do you have and with which ISP? Sorry, but this
is all important information. Also, do you have any anti-spam/anti-virus
software installed that scans your incoming email? If so, which product?

I have Comcast Broadband as ISP; OutlookOffice 2003, Version 11.0 ; . MiSN
Security Advisor 2.0.1; Security set @ Med. High

If MiSN Security Advisor 2.0.1 (I'm not familiar with that particular
product) is set to scan incoming email, disable this feature and see if the
duplicates persist. Scanning incoming email is generally not recommended as
it leads to many more problems (like multiple copies of incoming email) than
it solves, plus, anything it might miss will be picked up by the realtime
scanning that all these programs have as soon as you try to open the message
or attachment or attempt to save it.
