Default Lost .pst in 2007.

I receive an error message that my date file might be corrupted. When I try
to open Outlook 2007 I get message that my .pst cannot be accessed and that
it is a data cyclic redundancy error. I actually found on help the MS
website, but they want me to rename the .pst as "old." My .pst is not
located where they said it would be and when I did a search, it was nowhere
to be found. Now I simply want to starta new .pst, but Outlook won't open
because of this error. Any suggestions?

The default location for a PST is the hidden folder
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. Use
Control Panel's Folder Options to enable displaying hidden files and folders
and you should see it or simply open Windows Explorer, enter the path above
in the Address field, and click Go. You should also be able to display the
full path to the PST. In OL 2003, it's FileData File Management. I don't
know if it's the same place in OL 2007.
