Default Display new mail aleart for multiple accounts

I have a user whose Outlook 2003 is setup for several accounts. Her primary
account is, say, janDoe. Whenever new mail comes in to JanDoe, an alert
comes up to show the new message, which of course is great. However, she
also has a second mailbox open (via Exchange server setup, advanced "open
these accounts...."). This account is generically named "credit". When new
mail comes in to Credit, a pop up alert does not come up. Is it possible to
set up outlook 2003 to show alerts when mail comes in on this account as well?

You need to set up each rule to display both a sound and an alert. So... go
to Tools/Rules and Alerts... and select the rule you want to change. From the
tool bar, select the down arrow on the Change Rule option and choose Edit
Rule Settings... then hit Next until you get to the "What do you want to do
with the message?" page. Choose "play a sound" and "display an alert". You
will need to define the sound. You can use any file on your computer, but you
probably want: C:\Windows\Media\WindowsXP Notify.wav. Then just select Finish
and Apply.

You will need to do this for every rule and there is no way to automate this
that I know of. Hope that helps.

I hope I don't 'misuse' this thread to go on with my similar questions:

In OL2007 I noticed that if I am logged in in two accounts at the same pc
under Vista, a very welcome sound is played when new mail has arrived in the
account where I am not logged in momentarily (so, actually). This is,
however not done when in the other account Junk mail arrives (nor in the
actual account, by the way!).
Since I am using SpamCop.net to report spam, I would like to be as quick as
possible to report spam.
My first question therefor is: Can I switch on a sound in the two accounts,
so that I'm alerted in either account when Junk arrives?
If not, or this may be even better: Is there a possibility to forward a junk
mail when arriving in Junk folder to 'the other' account (so either way), if
not actually but 'sleeping' logged in? A rule by receiving address will
prevent mails going back to the originating receiver).
TIA, Oriolus

I already apologized, but there is no button where I can start a new thread,
that's why I hooked on a thread that was very alike.
Another problem (and that may probably be associated with the above
problem) that if I log on (as is obligatory when one tries to read the
response to your question *) ), a page shows up where it states that I should
fill in my e-mail address, which is filled in, so I click continue, but the
same page appears again and again. If I go back to the alert (e-mail) and
click the link: Read the Response*), than I arrive in the forum all right,
but still there is no button to start a new thread.
I hope I am clear in explaining what the problems are. Thank you, Oriolus

*) The first time I clicked at the link:
Click this link to continue receiving notifications for this thread.
Then I had to log in.

After sending the post above, this page showed up again where it states that
I should fill in my e-mail address, which is filled in, so I click continue
again, and this time that pane disappeared an the post above was posted...
