Default Change Exchange Server Name in Outlook

I have a client that upgraded their Exchange server over the weekend. The old
server was named "apples". The new server is named "oranges". They have 200
desktops using Outlook 2000. What is the easiest method to change the
Exchange server name on each client machine?

Default Change Exchange Server Name in Outlook

Leave the old server up after you move the mailboxes to the new server. All
the client machines will automagically find the new server. When all
clients have reconfigured themselves, you can remove the old server. Note
that there are some specific and very important steps that must be taken to
remove an older Exchange Server:
