Installed Office 2007 Home & Student. Thanks for Power Point over Outlook BTW
[That's sarcasm!] I do so many presentations at home and none in school... Any how, all of office H&S 2007 seems to work fine. I installed Outlook 2007 (stand alone version, Not included in Home & Student...) Unable to use stationary / themes, the "Theme" button (under tools options mail format stationery fonts) is grayed out. Spent Hours on 3 different nights doing uninstall reinstall routines with MS phone tech support to no avail. Only thing we discovered is that on a custom install, the option for "Web themes" is not listed on Outlook CD. Is this by design or was this missed by the programers? MS tech support does not know, they use a complete version of office that includes outlook. They recreated my problem by removing web themes from their installation. Tech Support told me to take my opened and used software back to the retailer and ask for another copy. Before I take this silly step, can anyone confirm if this feature is removed from the stand alone version of outlook 2007 on purpose or accident? |

If you bought outlook by itself and not in a bundle, you cant use stationery
(web themes). I finally got a call from MS tech support after weeks of trying to get an answer on this issue. So if we really really want such a simple feature, Bill Gates needs a lot more cash to make it happen. "Gberdan" wrote: Installed Office 2007 Home & Student.
