Hello All,
I have an office 2007 suite running on Vista Home Premium and encountered problem with Outlook 2007 as follows:- When I tried opening Outlook, an error message requesting Vbscript.dll registration appears. And when I ran the command in "RUN", I got a further error message : called DllRegisterServer failed + 0x80004005. I have tried the following solutions but still cannot open Outlook:- Solution A: registering Vbscript.dll by searching for [cmd], right click on it to "run as administrator", type "Regsvr32.exe Vbscript.dll" in the black screen, close [cmd] and run Outlook Solution B : create a new mail profile by adding a new profile in "Mail Setup" found in "Control Panel" / "User Account" Solution C : create a new "User Account" as administrator Solution D : create a new "User Account" as a user. Can anyone kindly shed some light on what else can I try? Thank you very much in advance. Warm Regards, Francis |

Actually, it didn't work as well as I hoped. After I reboot my PC, the
problem is still there! Anyone know of a permanent fix? "Toby" wrote: Thank you!! Had the same problem with Outlook '03 after uninstalling the '07 beta, but it worked fine! I've had same exact problem. & I tried EVERYTHING mentioned in this group.
So I just paid $49 to Microsoft support to get this solved .. Knowledge base article: Article ID : 302003 was no help since all my computers are on my network and the second option was greek to me. Will let you know what I find out. "Toby" wrote in message ... Thank you!! Had the same problem with Outlook '03 after uninstalling the '07 beta, but it worked fine!
