I'm having the same issue and it applies to all accounts, if you keep it open
it does not ask, but once you close Outlook 2002 when you next open it it asks for the passwords again, very annoying. Hopefully somebody has a fix? Outlook 2002 is not compatible with Vista. One of the incompatibilites is the inability to save passswords. -- Brian Tillman |

There is a file you can download from the MS site called Outlook Connector
which was to fix the problem of the missing file - the inability to connect to a pop3 account. I have downloaded this file and now I get a different screen, showing my login name, the password, but it still asks for a password and locks me out when I retry - stating there are too many attempts with an incorrect password. The password is correct. I assume others have got this to work otherwise they would have taken it down by now. Yes, you can switch to the other mail program but when you pay for a MS product like Office, which isn't cheap, you would expect it work on a MS operating system.
