Is it possible (registry change?) so that when I do a File/SaveAs, the SaveAs

No, you have to select it manually.
The default will be RTF for RTF messages, HTML for HTML messages and Text for plain text messages anyway, it's not always fixed as RTF. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Absolute Beginner's Guide to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "MarvInBoise" wrote in message ...
