Can anyone tell me how I can get the Outlook trial to work on a Vista
platform. I've read the posts here and can say that I don't have Outlook 2003 loaded, nor do I have Acrobat Pro. The program just won't load and just hangs / freezes in the background. Any help greatly appreciatated.... |

Any error messages? Are you logged into Vista as an admin, if not, are you
using Run as... for Setup? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Red Hen" wrote in message ... Thanks for responding, Diane.
There are no error messages. The program appears to open and even creates an icon in the status bar; it then beeps, creates an inbox icon in the bottom right of the status bar to tell me "You have new unopened items" - but that's it. When you mouseover the inbox icon, the popup states "Inbox - Microsoft Outlook Trial" and no more. I am the admin user (only user, actually) for the laptop. Hope you can help!
