VISTA Home Premium. Microsoft Mail works but putting the same setting into
Outlool2003 will not work. Setting up the email account, the first three tests pass the last two "Send test message" and "Log on to pop3 server" fail. Why should one prog work and another fail? What can I do, throw the thing out of the window? or is there a human being somewhere in MicroBot land who can help. Please... ![]() -- Oldie but not past it |

OK I have found a cause. Shutting down the McAfee services releases the power
of Outlook2003. Ihave had the same problem. I added Outlook to the firewall exception list
but still receive the same message. "send test email message. Unable to send test email message. please verify the e-mail address field." any other suggestions |
