Default Outlook 2000 missing OMI9.dll

Greetings to anyone who can help!

I've been using Outlook Express, but I want to start using MS Outlook, part
of Office 2000 which is already installed on my XP computer.

When I try to run Outlook, I get a "missing component" message - missing
OMI9.DLL. I've tried reinstalling Office 2000 several times, but I still get
the same message.

I CAN run the program from the installation disk, and I also found the
"missing" dll file - the one that refuses to install - on the Office
Installation CD. How can I get that file on to my comuter?

If you can help, I appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Wayne
