There can be problems with this, in that the PC containing the PST will need to be on all the time and only one Outlook at a time will be able to access the PST. Moreover, it will need to be an ANSI (i.e., Outlook 2000-native) PST, which will limit its size to under 2 GB. There may be other compatibility issues with using the same PST with both OL 2000 and 2003, so I think you'd be better off with the first approach. -- Brian Tillman |
