Default In Outlook 2003, the "edit message" function is greyed out

Hi all

I have the following problem on outlook 2003 Sp2

When i open a post in a pubblic folder the "edit message" button (on the
Edit Menu) is greyed out so i cannot modify it.
Is there some setting I need to change to enable the Edit Menu (Edit
Message)?

Thanks!
Simone
