Default e-mail pane jumps up 5 lines

When creating e-mail, if i reach bottom of pane, it should scroll and reveal
the words i am typing. Mine does not, instead it jumps up to show 5 or more
lines earlier and i no longer see what i am typing. the cursor does not move
up, just the view. I have to stop and scroll down to see the line where the
cursor is. ALL the TIME. just installed this version, OL 2007, with XP, all
updates current. Have posted elsewhere, I apologize, but getting no help.

Sorry, I thought it ok to cross post, given the obscure nature of this, but
I'll drop this thread and stick to the other. Thank you for correcting my
understanding.

It is OK to crosspost. You didn't do that, however. You multiposted.
