I have windows vista home premium, and office xp with publisher.
I save password for pop and smtp in outlook, but he doesn't save it. I have
write every time to send and receive mails.
I had reinstall the office with out UAC control, but doesn' t resolve the

Default Outlook not keeping password

Known issue which won't be address for Outlook 2002/XP on Windows Vista
since Outlook 2002/XP has been out of mainstream support. It will remember
the password for as long as you keep Outlook running.

Outlook 2002, which is contained in Office XP, is not compatible with Vista.
The problem you describe is the most common manifestation of the
incompatibility.
