My Outlook 2003 recently stopped working. I've tried to do a
reinstall/repair, but Office can't find a .CAB file that I've physically copied into the correct destination folder. Any help...thanks! |

Stopped working at what point?
To fix the repair issue you'll have to completely uninstall Office and then install it again. Don't forget to apply Service Pack 2 and additional updates afterwards. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more ----- "jcrandall1027" wrote in message ... Thanks for the response. I started getting the .dll message yesterday after
trying to reinstall Office XP standard and then upgrade to Office 2003. Is there no way to just reinstall Outlook 2003 (the other programs seem to be working fine)? If I do completely uninstall and reinstall, will I lose all of my messages and settings or are those stored in some backup file? "Roady [MVP]" wrote: Stopped working at what point? Reinstalling won't delete any settings. Note that it might only fix your
repair issue issue and not your original outlvba.dll error. Check back here if you still have the issue after the reinstall. Don't forget to apply Office 2003 Service Pack 2 additional updates. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more ----- "jcrandall1027" wrote in message ...
