Hi - i need serious help
I recently reinstalled windows XP, backing up my outlook files by copying the data file to CD. I have a feeling that outlook was open when I did this which is a problem judging by other posts, but I am not sure on that. These files are my only souce of contacts/calander etc. On trying to recover the data into a reinstalled outlook 2003 (by copying to hard drive, making sure it is not read only, and by trying to open file or import) I get the error that it 'is not a personal folder file'. I have tried SCANPST.EXE and it says it does not work; 'does not recognise the file and no info can be recovered'. I have also tried outlook recovery repair toolbox and advanced outlook repair. Is there any hope of recovering the information, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Joanne |
