What would cause the Global Address List to come up empty when creating a New
email and clicking "To.."? We are running Exchange 2003. Only one person in our small company (about 20 clients) has this issue. His list of contacts is intact and he can use it to send enail, but the GAL is just those on our server. Thanks. -- JG. |

Is the GAL empty or the address book not showing contacts in his mailbox?
if the contacts don't show in the address book, right click on it and check properties - is it enabled as an address book? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "James" wrote in message ... Turns out this was an easy one - just had to enable his Contacts as an
address book - Thanks Diane! -- JG "Diane Poremsky" wrote: Is the GAL empty or the address book not showing contacts in his mailbox? if the contacts don't show in the address book, right click on it and check properties - is it enabled as an address book? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "James" wrote in message ...
