I have enabled Outlook 2007 to pop up on my screen telling me I have a email;
when i have an email - obviously. However, this only works when i have Outlook 2007 open on my tool-bar at the bottom. This is not practical for me as i have many other programs running at the same time and the area becomes very clusted. When i dont have the porgram opened Outlook fails to tell me when i have mail. I was just wondering whether it was possible for me to make it so that even if Outlook isnt open, it will inform me when i recieve mail? If so can somebody please talk me through how i set it up? Many thanks -- Kyle. A. Meredith |

No, Outlook, like most programs, must be open to function.

You can run Outlook without the taskbar clutter by right clicking on the OL
icon in Notification Area and selecting Hide when minimized. "meredith714" wrote: I have enabled Outlook 2007 to pop up on my screen telling me I have a email; when i have an email - obviously.
