I upgraded to Office 2007. Now I can't send email. I get a Pop Up title Enter
Network Password. I enter my PW, click OK and it just keeps popping back up. |

The most logical answer, given the information you provided, is that you are typing in the wrong password. Are you on a corporate network? A home network? What version of Windows? Are you sure it is a "Network Password" it is asking for and not a password to open your pst file? Does this happen when you open Outlook or just when you try to send a message? If just when you try to send a message, re-check your server settings. You might have the password for your ISP entered incorrectly. Check your ISP's web site for Outlook server settings. Tim |

Home Network. Windows XP. It's only when I send email. I can receive email. I
had my ISP help me re-config, but it didn't work. They told me it was a Microsoft thing. Are they wrong? "Tim" wrote: Adri wrote: I upgraded to Office 2007. Now I can't send email. Tim Assuming your ISP requires authentication (it sounds like it does) and you have those settings set correctly (and it sounds like you have), I would ask your ISP to change your e-mail password to something else. Then configure Outlook accordingly. It might be that Outlook has corrupted the original password and simply re-setting it will fix it. Tim |

You know, I went in and deleted all old email accounts and also refreshed my
exisiting email account. This seemed to do the trick. I no longer get that annoying pop up. Thanks for all of your help. "Tim" wrote: Adri wrote: Home Network. Windows XP. I found a solution to that same problem that may work for others;
I have a free email account with Yahoo.com - this account would not let you "POP" mail to email programs such as Outlook. After searching in Yahoo help I read about the different free vs paid email accounts. So I paid the $19.95 for the Yahoo "Plus" account and it took 15 minutes for the account to switch over. The mail started rolling into Outlook instantly when I opened the program. I assume this will now work in Mac Mail program as well. So there you have it - at least at in Yahoo you must pay for your email to be able to pop it to another program.
