Vista, Office 2003. Everytime I start Outlook it says "please wait
while....installs". I click on OK and when install is finished all seems ok. This does not happen for Word or Excell. I have not installed the contact manager. It does this 90 out of 100 times. I ran the install cleanup tool and re-installed Office 2003. Didn't help. Any words from the wise? Thanks in advance |

additional: I unstalled the Office 2007 compatability pack and PPT 2007
viewer. Also ran detect and repair and reset all Outlook options to default. Did not help. I'm in the process of un-installing, using install cleanup, and using some 3rd party programs to clean the registry and hard drive of left over files after un-installing. Then I'll try it again. Can I use different set of CD's but the same Key to do a fresh install? Thanks again, Steve "Steve Allen" wrote: Vista, Office 2003. Everytime I start Outlook it says "please wait while....installs". Update: nothing helped, even a different CD. I tried typical and full
installs. Funny thing, I can't seem to wipe out every last trace of a previous install as the program complains it can't find the PST file from the previous install. Anyone know which settings and files to remove after the standard uninstall is finished? "Steve Allen" wrote: additional: I unstalled the Office 2007 compatability pack and PPT 2007 viewer.
