I recently got Outlook 2003. I tried to setup my email account, which is on
a Microsoft Exchange Server. I have since found out that my server administrator does not want Oulook to be used to get email from the server. I would now like to delete this account from Outlook, but it is now throwing a fit. Every time I open Outlook I have to wait for several minutes and then it tells me, "The name could not be resolved. The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." I then click "ok." Another error message comes up then and says, "Unable to open your default email folders. The file C:\...\outlook.ost is not an offline folder file." I then click "ok" and the program closes. How can I delete this account and start over? Thanks. |
