Default Outlook 2003 Issues-Troubleshooting

I use Outloook on my XP Pro Media center PC. Within Outlook I have set up two
accounts within this: Yahoo and a second, also POP 3.

My problem: When I click on the SEND/RECEIVE button a message appears on the
bottom right. Sending message 1 of 19. This messages appears every time I
press SEND RECEIVE, but emails to both accounts are sent and received all the
time. The " sending message 1 of 19 " is unchanged. Nothing stays in the
OUTBOX. The outbox is empty. When I send a proper e mail, send receive works
properly, the outbox empties, and all is clear--except for those 19 messages
that end up freezing Outlook for a few minutes each time.

Could these 19 messages be related to an older account I had set up within
Outlook? If so, how do I find those messages and either delete or resend them?

Possible undeliverable read receipts. See if these help:

Delete Read Receipts using OutlookSpy

Delete a stuck Read Receipt
