I created a new profile and added my email accounts. I opened the old folder
and I can see for my old saved emails, I only have to move the folder into the new profile to hold on to my old emails. I also copied my contracts and tasks over. How do I move my calendar items copied to the new profile? If I can't copy the calendar items, how else should I do the transfers? |

You've already copied them. Make sure you've added the Outlook Address Book
service to the new profile and you've set the Contacts folder to show as an e-mail Address Book: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/197577/en-us "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book" check box is dimmed in Outlook Contact folder properties Hal -- Hal Hostetler, CPBE -- Senior Engineer/MIS -- MS MVP-Print/Imaging -- WA7BGX http://www.kvoa.com -- "When News breaks, we fix it!" What you're saying doesn't make sense. A mail profile is a construct in the registry. It's not a file you can delete. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

If you created a new Profile you merely add your old data file to it

Well, I dragged the folders and that did not work. But then I realized that
the right click menu has a copy and past function. Thank you, Anne "Brian Tillman" wrote: Anne wrote: I created a new profile and added my email accounts. My calendar has a problem now. For the calendar you cannot choose "select
all" meaning the contents. I copied the calendar from the old file to the new personal folder, but it created calendar1. I tried copying the calendar to calendar and it made it a subfolder. How can I do this. I cannot delete the old calendar folder and make the new calendar1 the new folder. "Brian Tillman" wrote: Anne wrote: Well, I dragged the folders and that did not work.
