I have gone through my ISP's tech support and my email account is set up
correctly from their standpoint. I can't use it, though. When I hit send/receive, there is a box that comes and goes so fast I can't see it, and there is the standard icon below that says "send/receive complete". I have uninstalled 2003, uninstalled my old 2000, and reinstalled 2003 to no avail. Thanks for your kind attention, Tinker |

Yes, I have. I found a possible clue in the internet control panel, under
programs. The options for e-mail are only outlook express and hotmail. Does that help? I just tried to run scanpst.exe. My pst is named outlook.pst and is a 98-02
file. all my emails show in the personal folder list in outlook. That file isn't showing in doc&set/owner/app data/ms/outlook. That's where it was. Do you know where it went so I can run the scan on it? Thank you "Brian Tillman" wrote: Tinker wrote: Yes, I have. I found a possible clue in the internet control panel, under programs. When SCANPST asks for the file, enter %UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst in the filename field. Click OK. "LOcal Settings" in a hidden folder adnd unless you enable viewing hidden files and folders, you won't see it. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
