Default Outlook - how to UNMARK "Mark to Download Message Copy"?

Since my laptop was installed this week and we decided to leave incoming
email on the server for 14 days to have ample time for downloading them to
both the PC and the laptop, I receive all emails twice - as original plus a
copy.
Emails arrive (on both the PC and the laptop) as original and seconds later,
they come in as copy. So each email downloads twice.
I discovered that the feature "Mark to Download a Message Copy" is checked
in Tools / Send/Receive and I cannot find out where and how to deactivate it.
?Anyone else who encountered this and knows how to control it? Many thanks!!

No such option that I can find. Care to state the exact name of the option,
what version of Outlook you're using, and exactly where you find it?
