When I try to open Outlook 2007 (after a transfer from older system with PC
Mover) I get the error message "cannot open your default email folders. The file c:\documents and settings\john smith\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst is not a personal folder file." What do I do to remedy this? Thanks in advance |

You probably corrupted the pst by ovewriting an existing pst.
Use the mail applet to add a new clean data file, set it as default and remove the old Start OL & verify its operational. Copy your old pst(s) to some other location, eg Documents folder Within OL open the old pst "vb" wrote in message ...
