I have run Outlook 2003 for 2 years without problem.
Then 3 months ago I changed broadband suppliers and kept being asked "Enter Network Password" but it wasn't accepted. Outlook stopped sending emails from the Outbox. So I deleted them but the system is trying to send 6 emails that don't exist the outbox is empty. My send and receive never gets past send as it cannot send the ghost entries. I followed the advice on the microsoft site and created a second Outlook identity. The same problems exist there too. I would be grateful for help in resolving this and now I also need to erase the second identity which is obsolete. |

I just changed the POP3 and STMP addresses for each account to those of the
new supplier. I still use the address I have used for years. "Roady [MVP]" wrote: But you did remove your old mail account? That is not the way to migrate to a new account. You have to remove the old
account and then add the new one. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "Ghost entries" wrote in message ...
