I have MS office 2007 Ent Edt installed on Windows Vista Business/enterprise
edition. Recently I applied the MS Office 2007 SP1. When I try to search email items in Outlook 2007, Outlook keeps crashing. Windows File search is OK. I'm working on this exact same problem for a friend, except his only throws the error while trying to search Calendar. Have you found a solution? I had almost given up on this problem & learned to live with it. Until I discoverd that outlook search was happening if performed in the current working folder but would crash when done in all folders. Today when I read your post, I once again tried to search in all outlook folders & everthing was OK. seems to me that regular vista & other office 2007 updates have resolved the issue. I haven't been able to fix this problem either. Tried disabling all plugins,
rebuilding search index etc. Outlook crashes every time I search - mail,contacts,calendar - every time. Faulting application OUTLOOK.EXE, version 12.0.6300.5000, time stamp 0x4760725d, faulting module mspst32.dll, version 12.0.6300.5000, time stamp 0x47606f6d, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x000d4860, process id 0x1160, application start time 0x01c88a39dade1d57. |

I'm having the same problem. I ran Office Diagnostics and got nothing.
