Default Outlook 2003 error report causes to restart

Hi there,

I have a problem with an installation of Outlook 2003 SP3. An error comes up
and it says do you want to send a report. Each time I send or don't send
outllook exits unexpectently. Even when I deselect do you want to restart out
it still exits.

Also to note this client machine is also running Microsoft's CRM 3.0
integrated with Outlook.

When I look in the event viewer I see the following information:

Source: Microsoft Office 11
Type: Error
Event ID: 1000

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8169.0, stamp 465f28e3,
faulting module outllib.dll, version 11.0.8169.0, stamp 465f2870, debug?0,
fault address 0x000035f8

I also see another error message which looks like it might be related within
the same time frame:

Source: Microsoft Office 11
Type: Information
Event ID: 1001

Bucket 517238932, bucket table 1, faulting application outlook.exe, version
11.0.8169.0, stamp 465f28e3, faulting module outllib.dll, stamp 465f2870,
debug?0, fault address 0x000035f8

Any ideas?

Regards

Luke

Default Outlook 2003 error report causes to restart

Hi Luke,

Same thing is happening to us here. I did a slew of Windows updates via a
newly installed WSUS server yesterday, so I suspect one of them is causing
this. If you've come up with any new info, please pass it along.

Thanks,
Josh

Default Outlook 2003 error report causes to restart

Luke,

We use Microsoft CRM v3 and after reinstalling that application to the
newest version, our outlook errors seem to have stopped. I believe updating
the .net framework caused the CRM installation to get messed up. Go through
any Outlook add-in's you might have and try reinstalling them to see if the
error goes away. You could also try loading Outlook in safe mode and see if
you experience the same errors.
