Default Locating the .NK2 file

I have been trying to locate my .NK2 file for the past couple of days, for
some reason i noticed that when i went to type some common e-mail address to
my to box It doesn't appear, when i did a hidden file search i noticed that
the .NK2 file was there but it was under the name default. In many examples
it shows that the .NK2 file always appears as .NK2 why in my case does it
appear as default?
