Default Rules "Improper format"

I have just move from outlook 2000 to 2003. I have copied the pst and
rules.rwz over. My emails, and address book shows fine, however, rules are
imported. I have tried it through Rules & Alertsoptionimports and what I
get is an Improper format message.
Any suggestion?

What method of upgrading did you use? You don't have to do anything with
data and rules with an upgrade.

Default Rules "Improper format"

Dear Roady
Thanks for your response. This was a rebuild (drive C was reformatted). All
application setting and .pst files were copied to D and copied back after
installation of Windows XP and Office 2003. All applications setting
including toolbars are working fine. I even see all emails and
contacts/address book. However Rules are missing. I do not want to retype
the Rules as I literally had more than 1500 of them.
Sincerely,

An rwz-export from Outlook 2000 can only be read by Outlook 2000.
1500 rules? Surely you're kidding? It's time to revise your rules and
sorting structure then. Instead of sorting just by rules also consider
using Search Folders, custom views, categories and automatic formatting.
