Default cannot start outook in another user account.file access is denied

I have 2 windows user accounts. Can open outlook in one but not the other.
Both have admin status. Message I get is "File access is denied. You do not
have the permission required to access the file
c:\users\cal\appdata\local\mcrosoft\outlook\outloo k.pst". I cant work out
how to share access. Can anyone help?

What exactly are you trying to do? Open the same pst-file with both Windows
users?

ON my old computer I had two different windows user accounts. Each user
account used outlook to access a different bigpond email address. I am
setting up my new computer with Vista & outlook 2007. I have one user
account & one email address working but I can't set up the other email
address in the other user account because I can't open outlook in the other
user account. I'm not super computer literate. I have been searching online
help and I think I must either have to open the same pst file with both
Windows users or set up another pst file for the second windows user. Or
there must be an easier way. I don't remember having this trouble when I set
up the old one.
Thanks for your response.

You don't have to do anything with the pst-file from the other user; each
user will have its own pst-file automatically created when configuring
Outlook for the first time.

The fact that you can't open Outlook in the other user account is because
you did not properly configure the mail profile. I suggest you start with a
new mail profile via Control Panel- Mail- Show Profiles- New Profile
