I have converted a trail virsion of office2007 and it works will but when am
trying to lunch outlook 2007 it dose not open and i rescive this message (the
operation failed du to an istallation problem. i have have done the update
and tryed diagnoses but stell having the same

Hi Mohammed!

It is now you regret doing the online upgrade and contact some retailer to
get a CD or log in to windowsmarkedplace with your ID and order one from
there. Trials conversion are seldom something that works painless.

The latest news from M$ is that even the anytime upgrades you can do if you
want ex: Vista will be stopped and you will get a installation CD anyhow. You
will need this installation CD to do repairs and trust med, you will not wait
several days just to get that CD when you are in trouble. Like now.. Also it
will streamline the activation process by you having a key instead of a
password.

However it is one thing you can do, and that is to right click outlook.exe
in programfiles\microsoft office\office 12 and choose start as administrator.
This might work.

2nd try is to remove the registry key for outlook ,this might force you to
reactivate, but if it works it should be worth it. You won't loose any
data(mail,addresses,calendars a.s.o)

Browse you way to
Start
Run
write "regedit"
click forward through: hkey_local_machine
- software-microsoft-office-12.0-Outlook

Delete the folder named outlook.
If you wanto remove office completely you first remove it the normal way and
you go in here and remove registry key named Office.

do the same for hkey_current_user and then your safe for these
troubleshooting steps.
