Am trying to back up my pst in Outlook 2000 so I can install OL2003. I keep
getting an error message (0x80070021) - the process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file. Am using Vista on my laptop. Can you help with this error? |

What are you doing? We can't tell what you are doing wrong when you fail to
stat what you are doing. This is not difficult. Close Outlook. Copy your Outlook data file. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "annt" wrote in message ... I am trying to copy the file. Outlook is closed. Below is the message I am
getting when I try to paste it into another folder. I realize this isn't difficult, but can't figure out why the heck I'm getting this message. (I'll refrain on my comments regarding Vista.) Any other ideas to backup this file so I can load OL2003 and hopefully get this new laptop working properly. Thank you. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: What are you doing?
