Default even after scanpst finds on errors I still can not import or open mypst file

I had a bad spot on my hard drive and had to reload my computer after
fixing the problem. I have a 1.9 g mailbackup.pst file. I have used
scanpst on the file and it come back saying no errors were found 400
folders and 7000+ emails. However I can not do anything with in. I
am running Outlook 2003. Help
