I copied the Outlook 2003 pst folder to my new computer.
I opened 2007 on the new machine, without setting up email rules. I used File|ope|Outlook data file, and browsed to the location of the 2003 pst folder and opened it. My 2003 data appeared. I used Tools|Account Settings|Data Files and made the 2003 folder the default folder. I went to the folder list, right clicked and closed the default 2007 data. So, I had only the "2003" data list showing. I created the email account, which defaulted to delivering email to the "2003" data file. And now I have none of the 100 or so rules for sorting email. What did I do wrong? Thanks in advance. |
